Department Overview
Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University are seeking Hospitalists to join our established Hospitalist Division in Astoria, Oregon.
The full-time annual base salary range for this position is $348,376-$383,213; commensurate with experience. Base pay does not include incentive pay, hiring bonuses, or additional benefits such as retirement contributions.
Function/Duties of Position
Opportunity to provide hospitalist services at a Critical Access Hospital on the Oregon Coast while having an affiliation with the state of Oregon's only academic medical center.
  • Physician led hospitalist program where person-centered care is prioritized.
  • Prioritize work-life balance with a 158 annual shift requirement.
  • Average of 13.2, 12-hour shifts per month including day and night shifts.
  • Tele-intensivists are available for consultation on all ICU patients.
  • Collaborative hospitalist division with daily APP coverage.
  • Growing and financially strong organization.

Required Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certified/board-eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Active, unrestricted Oregon Medical License
  • DEA Certificate ACLS Certification

  • Shift based compensation model with differential for night shifts.
  • $20,000 hiring bonus.
