General Kitchen Support - CannabisSummary The General Kitchen Support team member assists in the daily operations of a licensed cannabis kitchen, supporting production, packaging, sanitation, and preparation of infused or non-infused products. This role ensures all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with state cannabis regulations and facility standards.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on position ideal for individuals who thrive in production environments and take pride in cleanliness, consistency, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support edible or kitchen production teams with daily prep and production tasks
  • Assist with measuring, weighing, mixing, and portioning ingredients as directed
  • Package, label, and prepare finished products for compliance and distribution
  • Maintain strict sanitation and food safety standards at all times
  • Clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and kitchen work areas
  • Follow all SOPs, recipes, and production instructions accurately
  • Assist with inventory organization and ingredient restocking
  • Report any product issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors
  • Support QA/QC checks to ensure product consistency and compliance
  • Work collaboratively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Qualifications
  • 6+ months of experience in kitchen, food production, packaging, or manufacturing preferred
  • Cannabis kitchen or food manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment
  • Basic math skills for measuring and portioning
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written)
  • Must meet all state cannabis employment requirements (age, background check, licensing as required)
