Job description

The W Hotel Fort Lauderdale, home to STARR Restaurants’ Steak 954 and El Vez, is seeking a full-time  Kitchen Facilities Supervisor to support multiple food and beverage outlets across the property. This role is essential in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and operational support throughout all culinary spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and supervise stewarding staff responsible for cleaning and general upkeep of all culinary areas, including dishwashing, trash removal, floor care, smallwares cleaning and organization, and special cleaning projects as assigned by the Executive Steward or Culinary Management.

  • Provide banquet and event support, including organizing and delivering setups and prepared food, as well as assisting with cleaning before, during, and after events.

  • Assist with basic food preparation and finishing as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in stewarding, dishwashing, or prep cook roles within a well-rated hotel or restaurant.
