Calloway's Kitchen Team Member
Calloway's Tennessee Kitchen is a family-owned, scratch kitchen, partnership with EZ Stop Convenience Stores located throughout the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Our mission is to provide quality, fast, fresh, and local products paired with convenience store items to service the community.
Kitchen team members produce the highest quality food with precision and accuracy, while continually observing and implementing the proper quality-assurance and food-safety procedures. Candidates with a passion for food and a desire to learn and grow their skillset will stand out.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Deliver on our promise of Nice People. Good Stuff.
  • Greet customers and provide a friendly and positive experience
  • Prepare, cook and present food safely, quickly and efficiently
  • Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and organized
  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests accurately
  • Protect the customer experience by ensuring packaging, food presentation and quality is top level
  • Complete customer transactions efficiently and comply with all state regulations when selling restricted products such as alcohol and tobacco
  • Maintain cleanliness of the facility to include the kitchen, bathrooms, and outdoor areas (i.e. dusting, mopping, emptying trash, cleaning, etc.)

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Prior experience as a cook, chef, or restaurant team member is preferred.
  • Ability to perform individually and as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment with little to no supervision
  • Ability to work any shift based on business needs to include some nights, weekends, and holidays
