CMB is looking for support staff to provide our guests with a memorable experience meeting Colorado Mountain Brewery's standards of excellence for a safe, clean, amazing atmosphere! You will support our team by bussing and cleaning tables, disinfecting and sanitizing as required while keeping a professional, friendly, guest first demeanor.
Busser Position Requirements:
The Busser position is expected to help maintain a smooth workflow between the kitchen, servers and our guests by removing dirty dishes from tables and ensuring proper sanitation of tables before the table is re-sat. This position is required to understand the flow of the restaurant, requirements for prepping plates for the dish station and proper disinfection and sanitation of tables. Requires working in a fast-paced environment to turn tables quickly in meeting CMB's standards of excellence. This position is expected to work with other team members to maximize efficiency and must be able to multi-task.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Exceptional guest or customer service skills.
  • Must have problem solving and decision making skills and be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to speak, read and understand English well enough for effective communication.
  • Must be willing to submit to and pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and criminal background check.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide proof upon hire.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Brings issues and process improvement ideas to the attention of the Supervisor.
  • Maintains verbal, written and culinary skills required for the position.
  • Attends meetings and participates as required.
  • Completes training as required for position.
  • Demonstrates appropriate level of time management in support of co-workers and the entire team.

JOB SPECIFIC TASKS:
  • Perform all opening or closing duties as scheduled to ensure the restaurant is clean and organized.
  • Remove dishes from tables in a timely and efficient manner and bring to Dish area for cleaning.
  • Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and order.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly manner.
  • Disinfect and sanitize tables.
  • Handle issues or concerns appropriately with a calm, positive demeanor. Notify management of all issues or concerns.
  • Run food as needed for any guest or staff.
  • Required to perform cleaning duties regularly, as needed or as assigned.
  • Prioritizes work responsibilities effectively.
  • Other duties as requested/assigned.

  • Physical Requirements - Requires full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination; requires the ability to use department equipment, to communicate effectively; requires standing, walking, sitting and performing repetitive tasks for up to the entire work day; requires the ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds using appropriate body mechanics.
  • Visual, Hearing and Communication Requirements - Requires corrected vision and hearing to within normal range, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form with all levels of personnel within and outside of the organization.
  • Pressure Factor - Requires working under stressful conditions. Moderate pressure to meet scheduled and recurring deadlines.
  • Environmental Conditions - Work space may be shared. Working conditions may be noisy with fluctuating indoor temperatures. May be exposed to a risk of bodily injury through contact with moving instrumentation, substances and other conditions common to a kitchen/restaurant environment. Subject to unpleasant odors.
