Job description

Starting pay at 18.68 per hour | Third Shift
In this fast-paced, high energy environment where cleanliness and attention to detail is essential, how do we ensure our back-of-house kitchens are kept fully-functional for service? As a Night Cleaner, you will maintain a clean and safe kitchen and have the ability to work well in a team. While carrying out the job duties listed below, you will contribute to our continued success by demonstrating unsurpassed guest service, a high level of integrity and ethical standards, and personal and professional dedication to our mission, vision, and values.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
  1. *Perform deep cleaning of all back of house Food and Beverage (F&B) work areas, surfaces, and equipment, including walls, work stations, ceilings, floor drains, floor mats, cooktops, and vent hoods.
  2. *Clean inside, outside, underneath, and behind all cooking equipment such as stoves, grills, deep fryers, and dishwashers. Break down and reassemble equipment as needed to maintain cleanliness.
  3. *Sweep, scrub, and mop floors in kitchen areas.
  4. *Wash and sanitize work surfaces.
  5. *Dispose of garbage, recyclables, and grease according to established guidelines.
  6. *Ensure a high level of sanitation is in place at all times and that all team members follow all sanitation procedures and food guidelines.
  7. Assist Utility Stewards in operating and maintaining dishwashing machines.
  8. Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
  1. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Job specific training or 6 months of related experience are required.
  2. The ability to successfully achieve ServSafe certification within 90 days.
  3. The ability to work safely and effectively with various cleaning agents, tools, and equipment.
  4. The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
  5. The ability to interact with guests and team members in a professional manner.
  6. The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  7. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, and move for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member will be required to lift or move objects up to 20 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds with assistance occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions
The noise level is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free. While performing the duties of this job, the team member will use chemical cleaning products. The team member will work near moving parts and extreme noise, such as kitchen equipment, and will be required to work in a hot environment, such as over and near ovens, cooktops, and open flames and in a cold environment such as in freezer/production prep kitchen areas.
