Kitchen and Bath Showroom Assistant Introduction


Join our dynamic team as a Kitchen & Bath Showroom Assistant in Kansas (KS), where you'll play a vital role in supporting the store manager and all showroom consultants. In this position, you'll assist with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.

Kitchen & Bath Showroom Assistant Job Responsibilities

- Greet and direct all showroom visitors.
- Follow up on all open job statuses for the ETA on all products when requested by the manager or the consultants
- Answer multi-line phone in a professional and courteous manner and transferring customer to the appropriate consultant or   their voicemail.
- Support consultants by processing written orders into quotes accurately and timely.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Responsible for contacting customers when orders are complete.
- Update, prepare, and organize picture books regularly. in a timely manner.
- Organize and order all showroom literature and distribute updated price books.
- Provide administrative support, including managing and distributing mail, handling daily tickets, balance cash drawer weekly, and day end reports for showroom.
- Assist warehouse with product check in, receiving SX, and prepare transfer shipment paperwork for all carrier transports.
- Maintain inventory, stocking copier, water, bathroom, breakroom and the cleanliness of the showroom. Collaborate with corporate for supply orders.
- Stay informed about industry trends and new product offerings to provide knowledgeable assistance to customers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.



Requirements:

 Kitchen & Bath Showroom Assistant Job Requirements


- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months to one year of previous experience in a retail or showroom environment,  preferably related to kitchen and bath products
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbally
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Willingness to learn about new products and industry trends
- Ability to lift and handle materials up to 25 pounds, crouching, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given  assignments

- Must posses strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and confidently use new software programs as required

- Must have the basic understanding of purchasing, receiving, invoicing and returns
- Attendance on a regular and consistent basis is mandatory. Punctuality is required daily. Hours are Monday through Friday from 

8:00 am to 5:00 pm; including one Saturday per month from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
