Job Summary: The Multiskilled EVS and Food Services Employee is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in the healthcare facility while also ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of patient meals. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to environmental services and food services, with a focus on serving meals to behavioral health patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Environmental Services Duties:

Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas according to established protocols.

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.

Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

Follow infection control procedures to prevent the spread of illness.

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Food Services Duties:

Prepare and assemble patient meal trays according to dietary requirements and preferences.

Deliver patient feeding carts to designated floors and distribute meals to behavioral health patients.

Assist patients with meal setup and ensure they have the necessary utensils and condiments.

Collect and return used meal trays and carts to the kitchen for cleaning.
