About KIPP NYC College Prep High School:
In August 2009, KIPP NYC College Prep High School (CPHS) opened its doors to serve students graduating from KIPP middle schools in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan, as well as other New York City students seeking a rigorous, college-preparatory high school program.

Over 90% of students enroll in at least one type of rigorous academic offering, including 16 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, 17 Dual Enrollment courses, and 13 Honors courses.
In addition to a wide range of electives and over 25 clubs, the school offers 13 varsity and junior varsity sports programs. Students will select an industry concentration aligned with their interests and goals, focusing their studies in grades 11-12 on that pathway. The new building, located just a seven-minute walk from our current state-of-the-art campus at 75 Canal St. West, will feature 40 classrooms, eight state-of-the-art science labs, double gymnasiums, a commercial kitchen and food prep space, a cafetorium with an outdoor patio, a 10,000 sq. ft. rooftop play space, and dedicated dance, art, music, health, weight, and cardio rooms.
