Job Title: After School / Holiday / Summer School-Age Childcare TeacherJob Description:

We are seeking a caring, responsible, and energetic Teacher to support the development and well-being of children in our after-school program children. The teacher will be responsible for supervising children, planning and leading age-appropriate activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment, and fostering positive social and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of children in a structured after-school setting.

  • Plan and implement educational and recreational activities, including arts & crafts, games, reading time, and outdoor play.

  • Assist children with homework and provide academic support as needed.

  • Promote positive behavior and resolve conflicts using appropriate guidance techniques.

  • Maintain open communication with parents, school staff, and fellow teachers.

  • Ensure compliance with all licensing and health & safety regulations.

  • Keep records of attendance, incidents, and daily reports as required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Prior experience working with children in a daycare, school, or youth program setting.

  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
