  • Greeting participants and providing a high level of customer service.
  • Responsible for the preparation of lessons plans, instructing, and evaluating class participants.
  • Candidate will be able to teach high intensity boot camp, Yoga, kickboxing and/or striking classes for adults and seniors.
  • Instructors are responsible for providing their own music, tracking class attendance, starting/ending class on time and turning in paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Classes are held in the mornings and evenings. Additional class dates and times may be available.
  • Arrive on time and prepare needed equipment.
  • Pay range: $20 - $28 per hour, pending experience.  

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Must have current Group Exercise Certification.
  • Could be a year-round position. Criminal History Background Check required.
  • Instructors are responsible for providing their own music, tracking class attendance, starting/ending class on time and turning in paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Must exhibit initiative in the absence of supervision.
  • Have a positive attitude and show professionalism in communications.
  • Experience working with older adults, confident managing multiple participants at a time, and the ability to create a fun environment.

JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions.  Specified criteria may vary by Department.
