Job Title:Analyst, Event Manager
Location: 525 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310
Duties:Strategy and Planning: Responsible for events budgets and events calendar aligned with corporate wide marketing and Corporate and Solutions Sales and Global Equities (Global Markets) business goals. Event Project Management - Lead end to end plans (timeline, milestones, deliverables, budgets). Coordinate cross functional teams (marketing, legal, compliance, HR, IT, finance), and secure internal approvals and ensure all activities comply with BNP Paribas policies (e.g., anti bribery, data protection, sanctions). Vendor & Stakeholder Management - Source, negotiate and manage contracts with venues, agencies, production houses, caterers, AV providers, security, travel & accommodation partners, and maintain a preferred vendor register and monitor performance against SLAs. Execution & Operations Oversee logistics (venue layout, registration, signage, transportation, accommodation, catering, health & safety), manage on site execution, troubleshooting, and real time decision making, and ensure seamless virtual/hybrid integrations (platform selection, streaming, audience interaction tools). Budget & Financial Control - Prepare and manage event budgets (forecast, actuals, variance reporting for the Global Equities and Corporate and Solutions businesses, and process invoices, track expenses, and achieve cost efficiencies while maintaining quality standards. Marketing & Communication - Partner with the communications team to develop event branding, promotional assets, invitations, press releases and post event content, as well as leveraging digital channels (email, social media, website) to drive registration and engagement. Measurement & Reporting - Define KPIs (attendance, satisfaction scores, lead generation, media coverage, ROI), conduct post event surveys, ROI analysis, and generate comprehensive reports for senior management, and capture lessons learned and embed improvements into future events. Use BNP Paribas Events' platform for budget approval, website creation, reporting features and communications channels, for each event. *30% domestic travel required to cities amongst the following states, but not limited to: California, Texas, Florida, Illinois, and New York. *Telecommuting permitted 40%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas RCC Inc. office in Jersey City, NJ.
SALARY :$92,352 - $105,000 / year. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location. Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday Friday)
Job Requirements:Bachelor's / US or Foreign Equivalent in Communications, Marketing and three (3) years of experience with Marketing and Communications. Must have 2 years of experience with: Strategy & Planning (management of events budgets and calendars aligned with business goals); Project Management (Project management and execution, from building budget and kick-off meeting to execution and debrief); Marketing and Comms related experience (Working with stakeholders in the planning and execution for Marcomms campaigns and understanding Events role); Execution & Operation (Overseeing logistics and managing on-site execution & decision-making; Budget & Financial Control
(preparing & managing event budgets, processing invoices, tracking expenses, and achieving cost efficiencies); Measurement & Reporting (Defining KPI and conducting post event surveys, ROI Analysis, and Post event recaps for Management and lessons learned; and Vendor & Stakeholder Management (Sourcing, negotiating, onboarding and managing vendors from different cities, countries, at multiple scales -budget, variety of services, etc). Must have one (1) year of experience with: Eloqua (Mass mailer tools for marketing and communications); and Eventogy knowledge (Understanding of Events tool for budget approval and project management).
