What We Offer

We believe great ideas can come from anywhere, and often, they come from you. As an intern at JD.com, you'll work on meaningful, hands-on projects, learn from talented colleagues across our global network, and grow in a supportive, fast-paced environment designed for development. With competitive compensation, great office locations, and a people-first culture that champions continuous learning, you'll have everything you need to thrive and kick-start your career.

About Your Program

You'll be joining the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, designed to give early-career talent hands-on exposure to real projects, real responsibilities, and real growth. Over 3-6 months, you'll work alongside experienced teams, build fundamental skills, and gain insights into how a global business operates.

If you're looking to kick-start your career in HR, this internship provides hands-on experience in full-cycle HR operations within a high-volume logistics environment, supporting employees across multiple Atalanta sites.

  • Your Own Corner of HR: You'll get to be the go-to HR support for 2-3 warehouses at our Atalanta sites. Don't worry, you won't be flying solo-our HR Lead will be right there as your mentor and partner every step of the way.

  • The Employee Journey: Learn the ropes of how HR actually works from start to finish. You'll help out with everything from welcoming new hires during onboarding to assisting with performance reviews and offboarding.

  • The Essentials: Get hands-on experience with the operational side of HR by helping review timecards and keeping our attendance tracking accurate and compliant.

  • People and Culture: Learn how to navigate workplace dynamics. You'll assist leadership in looking into employee questions and documenting situations, gaining invaluable conflict-resolution skills.

  • Be the Guide: Become a trusted resource by helping managers and team members understand company policies and basic employment guidelines.

About You

  • Recently graduated or currently enrolled in Human Resources Bachelor/Masters degree or a related field

  • Chinese language skills are preferred, English language is essential.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning and task completion.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to learn new systems such as HRIS, ERP, and payroll/timekeeping systems.

Note - We are unable to provide H1B sponsorship. We are open to OPT.

At JD.com, we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where every voice counts and every talent belongs. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
