Position: Automotive Technician
Department: Service Department
Location: Courtesy Kia, Mesa, AZ
Reports To: Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Kia and Hyundai Service Technician with a strong background in Kia and Hyundai vehicles to join our service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Kia and Hyundai vehicles.
  • Use factory-approved tools, equipment, and software to complete work efficiently and correctly.
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines, service bulletins, and warranty procedures.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and recommend additional services when appropriate.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding needed repairs and timelines.
  • Stay current with Kia and Hyundai training and certification requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, specifically with Kia and/or Hyundai vehicles.
  • ASE certification(s) preferred.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical manuals.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
