Responsibilities
  • Perform manual and automated calibration, adjustments, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of Test & Measurement electronic equipment at our customer's sites.
  • Evaluate test failures, distinguishing between hardware & system software to determine if repair or re-alignment is required
  • Perform calibration and adjustment procedures on Keysight and non-Keysight products
  • Install software and firmware upgrades that may include a re-image of the customer's instrument
  • Utilize strong computer skills, including automated calibration systems
  • Understand and utilize calibration software such as STE, TME, ETMS, and PC-based software as required
  • Work and adhere to quality standards for ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025 Keysight quality program
  • Assist in maintaining the Calibration team's accreditation through participation in proficiency testing, qualitymeasure assurance programs, and applicable training
  • Use excellent communication and organizational skills to interface with customers and peers effectively.
  • Establish and maintain close communication with customers to ensure optimal performance of customers' and Keysight Technologies' test equipment assets
  • Ensure compatibility between customer expectations and support provided by Keysight Technologies.
  • Work on service assignments with clearly defined objectives

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, University Degree, Technical School or Military PMEL/TMDE or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Field Customer Support of Test and Measurement instruments.
  • Must have calibration service experience of all types of Keysight Test Equipment to include RF/ Microwave skills to 50GHz
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively with fellow team members, customers, and management while adhering to the highest standards of business ethics
  • Must be knowledgeable of current quality standards for ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025
  • Requires the ability and desire to learn system/automated calibration software
  • Ability to calibrate instruments both manually and using automated test procedures
  • Experience using automated calibration software platforms (STE, TME, PC Based, etc.) is a plus.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to interface with customers and peers.
  • Must be flexible and capable of working in a changing priorities environment to meet strict performance metrics
  • Understand project timeline, goals, and processes and take the lead to complete those requirements.
  • Be able to interface and take the lead between the customer and Keysight to solve complex project objectives.
  • The candidate must have a valid driver's license.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills
  • Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs and 30 lbs overhead.
  • Able and willing to work overtime as needed
  • Flexibility to work weekends
