The Developer – KeyMark Labs position is a .NET Full Stack development role. This person participates in KeyMark Labs' development efforts, both large and small, to execute the product roadmap for current KeyMark products (Forms InMotion, Relay, ePosit, and others). In addition, this role will interface with KeyMark’s development partners on matters pertaining to KeyMark’s FileHold product.


Primary responsibilities include:

• Helping set technical direction for KeyMark Labs' development efforts

• Introduce and deploy AI assisted software development tools (such as Claude Code) and practices into KeyMark’s development organization.

• Meeting with KeyMark's customers and prospects to define and prioritize product requirements

• Helping establish go-to-market strategies

• Identifying new opportunities for innovative product offerings

Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance

• Work closely with KeyMark’s development partner to ensure alignment with KeyMark’s business objectives.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable systems using .NET technologies, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices

• Perform unit testing and fix bugs or other coding issues

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and provide innovative software solutions

• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote code quality, security, and performance optimization

• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in .NET development, and evaluate their applicability to KeyMark's systems

• Interact directly with customers and prospects to gather feedback, analyze data, and understand user needs

• Monitor and incorporate industry trends and innovations into KeyMark products

• Research and author product requirements, including use cases and user personas

• Work closely with engineering to specify feature details, create user stories, and drive delivery and UAT

• Create release and product-level features, advantages, and benefits documentation

This role operates at the Professional level of autonomy: job functions are performed independently, with work reviewed and next-level management available as needed.


MANAGERIAL OR SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position does not currently carry supervisory responsibility for other staff. As KeyMark successfully launches new products and the KM Labs team grows, opportunities for management advancement will emerge.


RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONTACTS

This role maintains extensive contacts, both internally and externally. Internally, it interacts with local and remote management, staff, and business partners. Externally, it interacts with customer representatives, prospects, vendors, and members of professional organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED BACKGROUND

The requirements below represent the qualifications necessary to carry out the essential duties of this position.


Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field required


Experience

• 5-7 years of full stack development experience highly preferred

• Proficiency with Claude Code preferred.

• Claude Certified Developer (CCDV-F) certification strongly preferred.

• Prior experience working in a team-oriented application development environment

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) preferred

• Hyland OnBase experience a plus


Knowledge & Technical Skills

• Proficient in .NET Full Stack development, with a strong background in Agile development methodologies

– .NET Framework, C#, Python, React, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies

– Creating and using REST APIs

– Agile, Waterfall, and blended development methodologies

– Database design, SQL optimization, and performance tuning

• Solid understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns

• Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., GitHub) and DevOps practices

• Working knowledge of application security principles and secure software development practices in support of ISO/IEC 27001 and related compliance requirements

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

• Proficiency in formal engineering methods, including documentation and communication, both internally and customer-facing

• Strong understanding of end-user considerations required for intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly software applications
