Job description

Position: Controller – Profitable $300M Division

Company: Publicly traded, high-growth manufacturing company with strong long-term prospects

Location: Lake Geneva, WI

Compensation: $195K + Bonus + Long-Term Incentive Compensation (Potential flexibility on compensation)

Team: Manage a team of 4


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead finance and accounting for the facilities, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory, and capital tracking.
  • Partner closely with operations to track cost variances, inventory accuracy, labor productivity, and capital spending.
  • Report financial results, forecasts, and key performance metrics to leadership.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and GAAP/SOX compliance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and track performance against key benchmarks.
  • Support capital investment, pricing, and contract decisions through financial analysis.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process and support internal and external audits.


Qualifications

  • Plant Controller or manufacturing finance leadership experience.
  • Strong background in cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
  • Extensive experience managing inventory and inventory controls.
  • Experience developing and maintaining SOX-aligned internal controls.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems.
  • Preferred: CPA/CMA, MBA, and/or public accounting experience.
