Job description

Job Responsibilities The Kent County Health Department is in search of a Clerk II to serve on the Children's Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) Team. The Children's Special Health Care Services Program strives to enable individuals with special health care needs to have improved health outcomes and an enhanced quality of life through the appropriate use of the CSHCS system of care. The clerk will support our team of public health nurses by communicating with enrolled families and potential clients, maintaining records using state and county electronic health record systems, and working closely with providers.

Additional Information All Kent County Health Department employees, regardless of position, are required to have their immunization status assessed and vaccinations brought up to date in accordance with the current CDC recommendations for health care professionals, with exceptions only as required by law.
