Responsibilities
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of kennels, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all animals.
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals, promptly reporting any concerns to the management team.
• Assist in feeding, watering, and exercising animals, ensuring their daily needs are met with care and attention.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement enrichment activities that promote animal well-being.
• Maintain accurate records of animal care activities, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners and addressing their inquiries.
• Support the training team by preparing materials and assisting during training sessions as needed.
Qualifications
• Must be 18 or above
• 1+ year experience as Kennel Tech preferred, but not required
• This position requires the ability to stand and bend for long periods of time and lift 40 or more pounds.
• Graduated from high school, received a GED, or equivalent
