ยท Maintains and cares for the physical well-being of all K2K9 dogs

ยท Assists Kennel Supervisor and/or veterinary staff, if necessary, with medical aid for the dogs.

ยท Monitors and observes animals for signs of illness or injury and reports to K2K9 Veterinarian.

ยท Feeds and waters animals as scheduled

ยท Lifts and carry food from pallets to individual kennels

ยท Complete forms and report to Kennel Supervisor regarding care, feeding and disposition of dog at conclusion of each shift

ยท Bathes dogs and performs related animal grooming and care

ยท Clean and sanitize kennels, kennel runs and kennel equipment

ยท Stock food and kennel supplies

ยท Maintain effective working relationships with all kennel employees including kennel master, dog handlers, kennel leaders, other kennel staff and all K2K9 employees.

ยท If necessary, assist Kennel Supervisor with transportation of the dogs
All other duties as assigned

  • Effectively apply K2K9 policies and procedures relating to the kennel operations and care, feeding, and handling of all K2K9 dogs.
  • Ensure that the dogโ€™s health and well-being is of premium importance. Establish effective working relationships with all kennel and K2K9 employees.
