We are seeking a Dog Kennel Technician to join our team!

You will be responsible for the overall care of our facility and well-being of the dogs.

Summary

Under the supervision of the COO, the employee will provide general care, cleaning, and feeding. The employee will also assist in maintaining and operating the kennel in a sanitary and efficient manner. This is a high activity level job, and you are on your feet most of the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Dog care tasks such as feeding, watering, grooming and watching dogs in runs.
  • Maintenance of the facility such as washing/disinfecting floors, kennels, crates and picking up after the animals in the run and on property and other kennel clean up duties.
  • Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, medication and other updates
  • Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
  • Act as a support for the trainers in their needs
  • Assist in administrative tasks
