About the Role:
Forest Shadows Pet Resort in Magnolia, TX is looking for a passionate and experienced Kennel Supervisor to lead our dedicated team of animal care professionals. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily kennel operations, ensuring the highest standard of pet care
  • Train, mentor, and schedule kennel staff to maintain efficient workflows and team performance
  • Monitor the health, behavior, and well-being of all boarded animals and escalate concerns as needed
  • Enforce sanitation and hygiene protocols including kennel cleaning, disinfecting, and waste management
  • Greet pet owners, manage check-ins and check-outs, and provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain accurate records of animal care, feeding schedules, medications, and vaccinations
  • Ensure facility compliance with safety standards and animal welfare best practices
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a kennel, veterinary, or animal care facility setting
  • Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of animal behavior, basic health indicators, and safe handling techniques
  • Ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and resolve issues calmly and effectively
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
