Job description

Ken Forging, Inc. a manufacture of forged industrial hardware is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team on the 3rd shift. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of advanced machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise in machine operation and mechanical systems will contribute directly to our production goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about manufacturing, machining, and precision craftsmanship to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Duties

  • Operate and monitor manufacturing machines including CNC lathes, milling, landis, drills, saws and presses.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and quality of finished parts.
  • Maintain production records, quality control documentation, and shift reports to ensure traceability and accountability.

Helpful Skills

  • Willingness to be trained.
  • Mechanical knowledge.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, materials handling, assembly line workflows, and packaging.
  • Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality assurance.
  • Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and production adjustments.
