About The Team

We are a small but mighty team of scrappy marketers looking to help families in their journey of preserving their memories. We are tremendously curious, open-minded and believe in a bias towards action. 

The role

We're hiring a Social Media Manager to own organic socials across our family of brands. We owe a lot of early success to the organic virality we attained on social media and we want someone who can partner with us and lead us into our next phase of growth.

This is a hands-on role that blends ideation, strategy and execution. This role is for you if you live and breathe social content and are always keeping a pulse on what is trending. You have a POV on what makes great social and drives growth on the channel and you will push the boundaries to get us there. You are the unique blend of creative, scrappy and organized. 

Additionally, we're looking for someone who's comfortable filming themselves in content as needed and filming other people around the office. 

What you'll do

Social strategy

• Develop and maintain the organic social strategy across Artkive and Cardkive, tailored to each brand's audience and goals.
• Identify content angles, formats, and trends worth jumping on, and translate them into a clear monthly content plan.
• Track performance (reach, saves, shares, follower growth, link-in-bio traffic) and use what you learn to sharpen the strategy over time.

Content scheduling & publishing

• Build, manage, and maintain the posting calendar across both brands.
• Schedule and publish posts consistently, write captions that match each brand's voice, and keep the cadence steady week to week.
• Engage with the community — comments, DMs, and reshares — to keep the accounts feeling human, not like a storefront.

Video creation (the heart of the role)

• Produce a steady, consistent volume of short-form video across both brands for Instagram and Tik Tok
• Own the full process: concepting hooks, scripting, capturing or sourcing footage, editing, and publishing.
• Create content that ranges from polished to lo-fi and authentic — and know when each is the right call.

What we're looking for

• Experience managing organic social and creating short-form video for a brand, agency, or creator.
• Must have an expert understanding of social native shooting and editing styles. 
• A portfolio of short-form videos you've personally made (Reels / TikTok). This is the first thing we'll look at.
• Comfortable being on camera and filming others
• Proven ability to produce video at a consistent volume without sacrificing quality.
• Strong copywriting instincts for hooks
• Comfort with mobile and desktop editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Edits, Adobe or similar).
• Ability to run a content calendar independently and keep a steady posting rhythm.
• Genuine interest in the emotional, family-centered stories behind our products.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of how organic social supports paid (Meta) and the broader marketing funnel.
• Experience growing an account from a "product page" feel into a real community.
