Adams Keegan is seeking a detail-oriented Benefits Specialist to manage multiple client-employer benefit and insurance accounts. We provide a comprehensive suite of Human Resources services including payroll, employee benefits, worker’s compensation, HR management, 401(k), and state licensing. For over 30 years, Adams Keegan has grown—and helped our clients grow—by developing superior employer solutions and providing unmatched client service.

Responsibilities:

  • Support annual open enrollment process for clients.
  • Process all benefits enrollment for new hires, ensuring accurate and timely submission to carriers.
  • Manage employee payroll deduction setup and maintenance for all benefit elections.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for client representatives, addressing benefits-related inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Resolve service issues for both employees and clients related to claims, eligibility problems, billing discrepancies, and COBRA.
  • Stay informed about changes in client-employer and employee deductions and premiums.
  • Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations across all client benefit programs.

Required Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent data entry skills with speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and explain benefit costs.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Preferred Experience:

  • 1-3 Years of Employee Benefits experience.
  • Preferred understanding of employee benefit laws, including ERISA, Section 125, COBRA, and HIPAA.
