Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN)

A Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) in Panama City, FL.

Kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, and kiteboarding are popular activities on the crystal-blue waters of St. Andrews Bay, with world-class beaches just minutes away.

Numerous charters offer inshore and offshore fishing, scuba, and snorkeling excursions. Guided day trips are available for dolphin-watching and shelling on uninhabited islands. Fresh, locally caught seafood is featured at many of the restaurants, while some offer live music and waterfront views.

  • Salary Range: $27.72 $39.60 (15+ years depending on experience)
  • If you have CNA, LPN, Surg Tech, or Paramedic experience, it will count toward your RN experience

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Current FL RN License or compact licensure (must obtain FL license within 90 days if using compact)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (ASN required; BSN preferred)
  • 1 year of acute care PCU experience or 3 years of Med Surg experience
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Critical thinking and decisive judgment
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, bending, and patient movement
