Position Overview

As a PTA, you’ll work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients restore function, improve mobility, and regain independence. Your support will make a meaningful difference in each patient’s journey to recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementing treatment plans

  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities

  • Monitor and document progress

  • Communicate with the PT and other care team members

  • Support patient motivation and education


Requirements
  • Current PTA license in Connecticut (or willing to obtain)

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

  • BLS certification (required)

  • At least 1 year of recent clinical experience (SNF or outpatient preferred)

  • A positive, flexible attitude and strong interpersonal skills
