What awaits you:
• Supervise maintenance and process activities of the plant.
• Manage training DNA for Maintenance and Process Technicians
• Lead and coach maintenance technicians; assign daily work, review quality of repairs, and ensure safe work practices; support onboarding and skills development.
• Review and communicate OEE data and key indicators to the technical teams.
• Support the CI of maintenance standards, production equipment and processes.
• Distribute technology, TPM/maintenance knowledge and best practice with and from the region.
• Ensuring globally established processes are supported at the plant.
• Drive, coach, and support troubleshooting techniques to improve overall OEE.
• Work with local Managers to ensure action plans and timelines are met, standards are kept and developed further
• Develop, optimize, and execute PM/PdM (preventative and predictive mainteance) routines; ensure calibration/inspection schedules are maintained; drive reduction in unplanned downtime.
• Plan maintenance work orders, estimate labor/materials, coordinate downtime windows, and prioritize corrective work based on risk and production impact.
• Enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space, hot work, and other safety standards; participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Identify reliability improvements, standardize best practices, and support Lean/Kaizen initiatives; recommend equipment upgrades and obsolescence plans.
• Support spare parts strategy, critical spares, and inventory accuracy; coordinate contractors and vendors; review service reports and invoices as required.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to align on priorities; provide clear shift handovers and status updates.
• Provide technical escalation and support for urgent breakdowns, as scheduled.
• Establish and enforce standard work for condition-monitoring routes, sensor health checks, and escalation criteria; ensure PdM/AI recommendations are reviewed, risk-ranked, and translated into work orders with clear instructions and details.
• Track alert outcomes (true/false positives), time-to-action, and avoided downtime; provide feedback to improve models and thresholds; lead root-cause follow-up when predictions are missed; report benefits and lessons learned.
• Train technicians on new AI/PdM workflows, tools, and standard work; reinforce consistent usage through audits, coaching, and shift handovers; update job instructions as procedures mature.
What you'll need to succeed:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or comparable education.
• Experience in plastic and automotive (supplier) industry.
• Coaching, mentoring and team-leading experience.
• Strong knowledge of blow molding
• Ability to operate with high level of diplomacy in all environments.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office applications
