NASCAR SpeedPark: PARC Pigeon Forge, LLC, a division of PARC Entertainment, LLC (“PARC”), owns and operates the NASCAR SpeedPark in Sevierville, Tennessee. As an officially licensed attraction of the National Association for Stock Car Racing (“NASCAR”), the park offers exciting side-by-side go-kart racing on eight tracks, together with amusement rides, miniature golf courses, bumper boats, an arcade, and other family-oriented entertainment. Job Purpose: Provide a safe and enjoyable guest experience by assisting with track and ride operations, supporting daily activities, and maintaining a clean and organized environment while following all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Park-Wide Related Duties:

  • Provide a positive first impression by welcoming guests and maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Support overall park operations by maintaining awareness of guest needs and operational flow
  • Communicate guest concerns, safety concerns, or operational issues to leadership as appropriate  
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and standards at all times  
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Department-Specific Duties:

  • Assist guests with ride instructions, safety procedures, and general ride participation
  • Operate and monitor go-karts and rides in accordance with all safety guidelines       
  • Assist guests with loading and unloading and ensure proper restraint and positioning     
  • Communicate and enforce ride safety guidelines, including height and safety requirements
  • Perform ride and track inspections and complete required documentation for opening and closing       
  • Respond quickly and safely to ride malfunctions, spinouts, or operational issues and report concerns to leadership       
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of track areas, ride areas, and surrounding environments     
  • Refuel go-karts and handle equipment in accordance with safety procedures       
  • Contribute to a safe, fun, and engaging guest experience

SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relationships – Ability to communicate effectively and interact positively with guests and team members

  • Preferred Experience – None required; training provided
  • Specific Vision Requirements – Color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
  • Specific Hearing Requirements – Ability to hear, understand, and respond to verbal communication and operational sounds, including ride signals, safety alerts, guest instructions, radio communication, and equipment noise, in a high-noise outdoor environment
  • Special Skills – Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and commitment to safety in a fast-paced environment
