Job Purpose and Objectives:
This position is responsible for providing transportation of juveniles/adults in the Juvenile Justice Authority system and KDOC Community Corrections system. Hours will vary.
Position Requirements and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed in the complete job description are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Position Requirements:
  1. Must be 21 years of age or older.
  2. Be qualified for access to any Kansas Criminal Justice Information System (KCJIS) data.
  3. Not be registered on the Kansas child abuse registry.
  4. Not be registered on the Kansas adult abuse registry.
  5. High school diploma or G.E.D.
  6. College course work in criminal justice, counseling, corrections, criminology, psychology, social work or related field helpful.
Certifications / Licenses:
  1. Valid Kansas driver’s license.
