As the GM you are the executive officer of your restaurant, you run the "four walls" of your restaurant as if it's your own business. You are responsible for building and leading our team, while facilitating a world-class environment that offers genuine hospitality to all team members and all guests. You are expected to develop strategies that involve creative problem-solving, pro-active planning, and measurements to motivate our team through "kaizen" (continuous daily improvement). You are expected to create a restaurant culture of excitement, accountability, positivity, and standards. You are the captain of the ship, and lead by example to create an environment of inclusion and driven success.
As the leader of your restaurant, you set clear expectations, provide effective training while being an encouraging mentor to all team members and other managers along the way, while ensuring your team has measurable goals. We provide you with the tools to meet all goals and expectations set. The ability to understand that the key to success are your people, both team members and customers, is of the utmost importance! You'll be the primary communicator to your team and lead the organization of our restaurant. Your success is our success! You are expected to shape the work environment to create a culture that aligns with our core values, set strategies to achieve goals, allocate resources to your team, develop leaders within your four walls, build the organization through meaningful connections, and oversee restaurant operations on every level.
Annual Salary: $55,000-65,000 + bonus

Store Closure Dates:
All Restaurants Closed on New Year's Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, + Christmas Day
All Restaurants Close early at 3pm on New Years Eve, Memorial Day, Labor Day, + Christmas Eve
All Restaurants Close at Kickoff on Superbowl Sunday

Additional Job Responsibilities + Requirements:

  • Streamlining the restaurant processes in accordance with company standards to improve the guest experience
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret reports and make data-driven decisions to achieve results
  • Ability to understand and navigate a P&L statement while running a profitable restaurant through sales building, community engagement, managing food and labor costs, along with other measurables within the business
  • Enforcing food handling regulations and other guidelines at all times to ensure guest safety
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability prioritize restaurant needs to keep things running smoothly
  • Clear and transparent communication skills to provide your team with the knowledge to work effectively
  • Promoting the restaurant within your community to find creative ways to bring in new customers
  • Handle all guest complaints or issues - going above and beyond to make it "right" and deliver the WOW
  • Complete necessary daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork, such as sales, inventory, staffing reports, DSR's, schedules, food truck orders, etc.
  • Ability to create a positive work environment that stands out in the industry with an attitude that strives to do whatever it takes to get the job done

Qualifications:
2+ years restaurant experience preferred, but not required
2+ years of management experience required

Prior experience in one of the following roles and brands is highly desirable: general manager, catering manager, operations manager, supervisor, shift lead, Restaurant assistant general manager or other restaurant job at Fusian, Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, Starbucks, Panera Bread, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Burger King, In-N-Out Burger.
