Paradigm is seeking a full-time, fully remote, benefitted Clinical Preceptor. The Clinical Preceptor holds accountability for supporting Network Manager (NWM) and Business Contact (BC) role development and integration into the Paradigm culture and clinical practice environment. The Clinical Preceptor functions as a clinical practice subject matter expert and mentor in guiding and directing the clinical practice activities of new team members.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Precept and mentor Network Managers and Business Contacts using Paradigm standards and clinical guidelines
  • Oversee work quality across calls, documentation, productivity, and time management
  • Lead catastrophic cases to ensure quality, compliance, timeliness, and customer satisfaction
  • Deliver targeted clinical training, including virtual, in-person, and shadowing experiences
  • Assess performance, provide feedback, and partner with leadership on development actions
  • Serve as a clinical resource, guiding best practices, tools, and policies
  • Collaborate across teams to support clinical and business priorities
  • Support continuing education development and ongoing training initiatives
  • Engage in initiatives to advance Paradigm systems and practice expertise
  • May manage a limited caseload of NWM patients, as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Unencumbered, active compact RN license
  • Experience as a Network Manager, managing catastrophic injury and chronic pain conditions, demonstrating knowledge of case management services provided for catastrophically injured individuals.
  • CCM certification required
  • Experience using EDDG is required.
  • Thorough knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, standards of care for catastrophic diagnoses, case management, public and private resources required.
  • Prior experience with mentoring, skill development, and teaching the adult learner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to simplify complex material for training and utilize negotiation/conflict resolution skills to resolve issues.
  • Intermediate computer skills including working knowledge of the Internet, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other tools/programs utilized for distance learning and webinar presentations.
  • Ability to learn new processes quickly. Ability to analyze workflow and make recommendations for changing processes (e.g., simplifying) as appropriate.
  • Awareness of jurisdictional regulations impacting patient care management, confidentiality and return to work. Follows standards of practice for case management for ethical and legal issues.
