ShiftCode Analytics, Inc. is seeking a skilled Sr. Software Engineer with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka. The role involves system design, application development, and operational stability across multiple complex projects.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Expert Sr. Software Engineer in Java, Spring Boot and Kafka with demonstrable expertise over multiple complex projects.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• 7+ years of experience with core Java 8 or higher, with Spring Boot.
• 3+ years experience with Kafka or other event streaming systems (RabbitMQ, Kinesis, Service Bus).
• 5+ years of experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with distributed cache and compute grid products, such as Hazelcast.
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets like GIT/BitBucket, JIRA, Maven.
• Design, deploy, and manage scalable applications using Kubernetes.
• Knowledge and understanding of capital markets: back office technology and systems.
Preferred:
• Experience in PERF testing and turning as well as shift left practices.
• AWS experience.
