Position Overview
K&I Executive Security Group is seeking professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Security Guards to provide protective services for clients, properties, personnel, and assets. Security Guards are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by conducting patrols, monitoring activities, enforcing site policies, and responding to incidents professionally and efficiently.
Assignments may include residential communities, commercial properties, construction sites, executive protection support, events, retail locations, and other security operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to monitor suspicious activity and security risks
  • Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and unauthorized access
  • Monitor entrances, exits, gates, cameras, and alarm systems
  • Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, disturbances, and alarm activations
  • Write clear, detailed, and accurate daily activity reports and incident reports
  • Enforce property rules, regulations, and client directives
  • Assist employees, residents, visitors, and clients as needed
  • Contact emergency services when necessary and coordinate with law enforcement or first responders
  • Conduct access control procedures including badge checks, visitor logs, and package inspections
  • Observe and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and safety violations
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and situational awareness at all times
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Guard Card required
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred
  • Ability to pass background screening and drug testing if required
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
  • Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to patrol stairs, uneven terrain, and large properties
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
Schedule Expectations
  • Day, swing, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required
  • Overtime opportunities may be available based on operational needs
  • Schedule flexibility is strongly preferred

Security Guards are expected to maintain a clean, professional appearance and properly wear all required uniforms and equipment provided or approved by K&I Executive Security Group.
