Job description

Job description:

BARna (Denver – East Colfax) – Bartenders & Servers Hiring Event
We’re not a sports bar.
BARna is a 10,000 sq ft, high-energy concept where soccer culture, tapas, craft cocktails, and interactive gaming collide. Built for volume. Built for energy. Built for people who like to move.
Opening June 15 — we’re building the opening team now.
WE’RE HIRING
  • Bartenders (high-impact role)
  • Servers (experience-driven)
Full-time & part-time available
WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT
  • High-volume environment (not just weekend spikes)
  • Streamlined ordering system (less POS, more guest interaction)
  • Team-based tip pool built around volume (designed to outperform traditional sections)
  • Bartenders earn a higher-weighted share based on role impact
This is a fast, social, interactive room—not a traditional section-based job.
COMPENSATION
  • $18–$35+/hour total comp (tips included)
  • Strong nights driven by volume + team performance
  • Consistency across dayparts
$16.27/hour base wage plus pooled tips. Tips are shared among front-of-house team members (servers, bartenders, bussers, and barbacks). No tip sharing with managers or supervisors. Employees earn a minimum of $19.29/hour total in compliance with Denver minimum wage laws.
If you know how to move and work a room, you’ll make money here.
THE ROLES
BARTENDERS You run the room. High-volume cocktails, high guest interaction, big presence.
SERVERS You’re hosting—not just taking orders. Reading tables, maintaining energy, and guiding the experience.
WHO FITS
  • You thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments
  • You don’t need to hide in a section
  • You actually enjoy guests
  • You work well on a team (this matters here)
If you want slow and traditional, this isn’t it.
HIRING EVENT
June 2–3 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM 1201 East Colfax Ave, Suite 100
Walk in, bring a resume, and be ready to talk.
Can’t make the event? Send your resume to: Garrett.p@barnasoccer.com
Opening June 15 — hiring now to build the opening team.
If you’ve worked high-volume and know how to handle it—we want to meet you.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Benefits:
  • Flexible schedule
Work Location: In person
