Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer (Onsite, Jupiter, FL)

We are looking for an Flight Test Instrumentation Engineer for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will design, install, integrate, maintain, and support airborne flight test instrumentation and multi-channel data acquisition systems by performing instrumentation installations, calibrations, system checkouts, and avionics integration to enable accurate data collection for rotorcraft flight testing and aircraft modification programs.

This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week (5-day 8-hour shifts per week) role, this is an Onsite role in Jupiter, FL.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities:

  • The Flight Test Instrumentation group is seeking qualified candidates to support efforts in designing and managing data acquisition and measurement systems to collect data in accordance with flight test program needs.
  • Responsibilities will span the design, build, installation, maintenance, and upgrades to airborne data acquisition systems on rotor wing aircraft.
  • The successful candidate will work in an exciting team based environment supporting test flights, lab builds, and system integration/sustainment during aircraft modifications.

Requirements:

  • Must be an US Citizen
  • 4+ years of experience with Flight Test Instrumentation
  • Experience using multi-channel data acquisition and recording systems
  • Experience with instrumentation installations, system integration, calibrations, and checkouts
  • Experience supporting flight test in a high-OPTEMPO environment
  • Familiarity with Curtiss-Wright/TTC data system hardware
  • Familiarity with Avionics buses
  • Bachloers Degree
