Education

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree preferred.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of successful fundriasing experience, including a proven track record of acquiring, cultivating and soliciting donors thgouh multi-channel inititatives
  • Must be detail oriented, a self-starter and have the ability to proactively problem solve and work well both individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to represent Jupiter Medical Center and the Foundation with a wide range of constituencies in a manner that heightens the quality of the relationship and advances the positive perceptions of the Medical Center and the Foundation in the community.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Knowledge of accessing and utilizing Blackbaud Raiser's Edge.

Position Summary

This Annual Giving position, in collaboration with the Director of Annual and Planned Giving, will assist in executing a comprehensive annual gifts program. The Annual Giving position will primarily focus on building relationships with newly acquired donors, engaging current Annual Giving Society donors, ensuring donor retention through renewals and upgrades, and promoting donors through the donor pipeline.

  • Assist the Manager of Annual Gifts with monthly renewal, lapsed, and drop notices.
  • Manager Digital Donor Card program for annual and lifetime donors
  • Assist in the oversight and communications of employee giving
  • Identifies, engages, and successfully solicits individuals for gifts with an emphasis on giving societies and mid-level gifts.
  • Assist with the introduction of identified major gift prospects to appropriate Foundation staff and leadership.
  • Lead fundraising appeal production including updating donor lists, editing, printing, mailing, and managing project tasks timeline.
  • Ensure that all materials, including letters, proposals, and reports, are well-written, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Utilize the Raiser's Edge database and prospect tracking system to document meaningful actions and produce moves management activity reports.
  • Effectively communicate the goals and needs of Jupiter Medical Center to prospective donors, the business community, and the public; and represent the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation on various community committees.
  • Serve as a key member of the Jupiter Medical Center Foundation, establishing and maintaining effective and collegial working relationships with the management of Jupiter Medical Center and the Board.
  • Attend Foundation events (including evenings) with Jupiter Medical Center prospective and current donors to more deeply connect them to the organization.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks, deliver results under tight deadlines with little oversight at times.
  • Be proactive in seeking additional duties and improving processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
