Job description

About Juniper Square
Private markets are one of the largest, most complex, and most underserved corners of global finance. Our mission at Juniper Square is to unlock their full potential. We're the Operations Partner trusted by 2,300+ GPs, unifying technology, data, and fund administration services into a single platform that helps GPs move faster, make better decisions, and scale with precision. With $300B+ under administration and 700,000+ LPs on platform, we've built the scale to match our ambition. And with JunieAI, our purpose-built AI platform, we're reimagining how private markets operate, embedding intelligence across every workflow. Founder-led since 2014, backed by $350M+ in funding, and now 1,000+ employees strong, we're building a company designed to shape the future of private markets for decades to come.
Our culture is built for people who want to do ambitious, meaningful work alongside exceptionally talented teammates. We think like owners, move with urgency, and take pride in solving hard problems that truly matter to our customers and the future of private markets. We believe the best ideas come from open debate, deep collaboration, and diverse perspectives, which is why we believe transparency is the default and feedback makes us stronger. If you're energized by high standards, rapid growth, and the opportunity to help define a category at a pivotal moment, come join us!
Juniper Square offers employees a variety of ways to work, ranging from a fully remote experience to working full-time in one of our physical offices. We invest heavily in digital-first operations, allowing our teams to collaborate effectively across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian Provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England. We also have physical offices in San Francisco, New York City, Mumbai and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.
About your role
Juniper Square is building the infrastructure layer for the world's most sophisticated private markets firms. We are looking for an Enterprise Business Transformation Consultant to serve as a strategic transformation partner to our most sophisticated clients. Based in our New York office, you will act as a trusted advisor to client executives and system architects, responsible for redesigning core business processes and influencing what Juniper Square builds to help clients thrive on our platform.
You will map complex system architectures and redesign how multi-hundred-billion-dollar firms manage their investor ecosystems. This includes designing workflow architecture to integrate Juniper Square with existing ERP, CRM, and data warehouse environments and deploying AI agents to streamline investor operations.
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Client Success, you are the embedded operational leader for Institutional accounts during multi-year implementations, owning project health from initial onboarding through operational maturity. Your expertise in change management and business process re-engineering (BPR) will be instrumental in transforming clients from legacy operators into institutional-grade digital powerhouses.
What you'll do
  • Business Transformation Quarterback. Serve as the single client-facing leader across onboarding and product teams for your accounts. Own the successful outcome throughout multi-year engagements and mobilize the right internal resources to make the client successful.
  • Strategic Business Architecture. Partner with client C-Suite, technology leadership, and system architects to map their existing system landscape (fund administration providers, CRM, data warehouses, LP portals) and design the future state with Juniper Square at the center. Own the systems and data flow map and workflow architecture that other teams execute against.
  • Business Process Re-engineering. Lead the redesign of core client workflows, including areas beyond direct Juniper Square touchpoints. Identify where clients can automate, accelerate, or eliminate manual steps in partnership with our Technical Consulting team.
  • Custom Development Facilitation. Bridge the client's high-level business objectives with Juniper Square's technical execution. Ensure the client's true business need is accurately represented in product conversations and that timelines align to client goals.
  • AI Agent Design & Orchestration. Identify workflow automation candidates, define agent requirements, and work hands-on with Juniper Square's agentic platform and forward-deployed engineers to configure and deploy agents within client environments. Comfort with CLI-based tooling, MCP integrations, and AI agent frameworks is expected.
  • Change Management. Build and execute an organizational change strategy within client organizations. Map political and psychological dynamics, identify champions and resistors, and drive the buy-in and training that ensures adoption when Juniper Square goes live.
  • Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Management. Own the executive-level narrative for your accounts. In partnership with the CSM and Head of Enterprise Client Success, provide regular updates to client and Juniper Square leadership on implementation progress, capability delivery, and ROI. Know when to escalate and when to resolve independently.
  • Operational Playbook Development. Document workflow designs, implementation patterns, and requirement frameworks to enable Juniper Square to serve future Institutional accounts.
Qualifications
  • 8-15 years of experience in management consulting, enterprise SaaS implementation, forward-deployed advisory, or digital transformation with a meaningful portion in financial services or private markets.
  • Genuine working knowledge of private equity or alternative investment operations including fund structures, LP/GP dynamics, investor reporting workflows, or similar. You do not need to have worked at a PE firm, but you need to demonstrate that you understand how they run.
  • Experience with AI tooling including CLI-based interfaces, agent frameworks, or MCP-style integrations.
  • Ability to map complex system landscapes and design workflow architectures that integrate new software into fragmented enterprise environments.
  • Experience translating ambiguous client needs into structured proposals and making ROI-based cases for investment.
  • Strong executive presence: you are comfortable in the room with a CTO or CFO and can make complex architectural concepts accessible without oversimplifying.
  • Proven comfort with ambiguity. You know how to make decisions and move forward without waiting for perfect information.
  • Willingness to be on-site with clients up to 50%, normalizing to approximately 25% in steady state.

Preferred:
  • Background in management consulting in the private equity, fund administration, or institutional asset management industries.
  • Experience in a forward-deployed model - Palantir, Salesforce Value Engineering, ServiceNow Strategic Advisory, or a comparable embedded client partner role.
  • Familiarity with API-led integration patterns and enterprise data governance.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree; Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or PROSCI certification.
Compensation
Compensation for this position includes a base salary, bonus, equity, and a variety of benefits. The U.S. base salary range for this role is $175,000 - $200,000 USD. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.
Benefits include:
  • Health, dental, and vision care for you and your family
  • Life insurance
  • Mental wellness coverage
  • Fertility and growing family support
  • Flex Time Off in addition to company-paid holidays
  • Paid family leave, medical leave, and bereavement leave policies
  • Retirement saving plans
  • Allowance to customize your work and technology setup at home
  • Annual professional development stipend

Your recruiter can provide additional details about compensation and benefits.
