Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to design, develop, test, implement, and support web and API-based software solutions for CAI clients. This position will be a full-time contract and hybrid in Chicago, IL.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with a team of application specialists to support enterprise client applications
  • Develop and unit test REST web services and web-based solutions using HTTPS technologies
  • Utilize tools such as SOAP UI and Postman for API development, testing, and validation
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions that align with established development standards
  • Create and maintain code documentation and technical design documentation
  • Develop both backend and frontend components for web-based applications
  • Resolve software defects in a timely and thorough manner
  • Participate in application and network performance tuning activities
  • Assess, prioritize, and triage issues based on business impact and urgency
  • Escalate issues to management when appropriate
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while ensuring project timelines and deliverables are met
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities across teams
  • Quickly learn new applications, technologies, and systems introduced into client environments
