Job description

Let’s do great things, together

Founded in Oregon in 1955, Moda is proud to be a company of real people committed to quality. Today, like then, we’re focused on building a better future for healthcare. That starts by offering outstanding coverage to our members, compassionate support to our community and comprehensive benefits to our employees. It keeps going by connecting with neighbors to create healthy spaces and places, together.

Moda values diversity and inclusion in our workplace. We aim to demonstrate our commitment to diversity through all our business practices and invite applications from candidates that share our commitment to this diversity. Our diverse experiences and perspectives help us become a stronger organization. Let’s be better together.

Moda Health is seeking a UI/UX Designer to turn our dental practice management software, into a cloud-based SAAS product.
UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, assisting in research, designing graphic elements and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, candidate should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. Ultimately, the UX/UI Designer will assist with strategy and implementation, in addition to creating both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base. This position involves working closely with the director of marketing, project manager, overseas team of developers, and remote systems architect.
If you have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you.
Primary Functions:
•    Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
•    Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
•    Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
•    Build page navigation buttons and search fields
•    Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
•    Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
•    Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
•    Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
•    Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
•    Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

Are you ready to be a betterist?

If you’re ready to make a difference that matters, we want to hear from you. Because it’s time to discover what’s possible.

Together, we can be more. We can be better.
