Job Details Responsibilities
  • Configure, maintain, and customize the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to support evolving production requirements
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues affecting MES functionality and shop‑floor operations
  • Set up and maintain product routing within the MES environment
  • Ensure accurate data collection and analysis to track performance metrics and identify operational trends
  • Monitor system performance, security, and stability; perform routine maintenance and apply patches/updates
  • Collaborate with IT and Production teams to integrate MES with external equipment, PLCs, SCADA systems, and enterprise systems
  • Create and maintain thorough documentation of system designs, configurations, and procedures
  • Lead IT projects from conception through completion, including planning, execution, and post‑project documentation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of database systems (Oracle, Firebird, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL) and SQL for data analysis and reporting
  • Experience with C# or a comparable object‑oriented programming language
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to proactively identify and communicate concerns
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and track multiple concurrent projects to completion
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in an MES, IT, or manufacturing systems role
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
