Who is LOC Software?
For over 30 years, LOC Software has delivered retail technology that drives performance. Our configurable, modular platform, including ThriVersA, empowers high-volume independent merchants across many retail environments including retail, grocery, pharmacy and fuel with POS, back office, eCommerce, loyalty, and more. With cloud and on-premises flexibility, we enable retailers to operate, adapt, and grow, anywhere.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot peripheral drivers, firmware, and middleware and verify compatibility across different Windows versions and POS software releases
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, compatibility, and end-to-end testing of POS peripherals
  • Validate hardware communication using multiple interfaces (USB, Serial, Ethernet, Bluetooth, HID, OPOS, JavaPOS, Windows Native APIs,..)
  • Create and maintain installation guides, user guides, troubleshooting guides, and hardware setup documentation

Requested skills:
  • More than 5 years of experience as a Tester/QA
  • Bac or master in QA
  • The candidate should be familiar with testing and configuring different devices such as: PIN Pads, printer, FastLane Self Checkout, scanner and scale
  • Proven experience in documentation

Work Environment
This is primarily an on-site, hardware-focused role. The successful candidate will be expected to work from the office to support hardware testing, lab maintenance, and peripheral integration. Remote work may be approved by the manager only in special circumstances.
