Architects, Software Development for Chicago, IL location. Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native infrastructures. Focus on AWS cloud services, Kubernetes orchestration, and modern DevOps practices, enabling high-performance development and deployment workflows across teams. Architect and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS or Google Cloud Platform Cloud. Design and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications at large scale, 10s of thousands of TPS and 99.999% reliability. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and deployment. Define and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards using Terraform or CloudFormation. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development life cycle. Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or AWS CloudWatch. Ensure compliance with security and governance policies across cloud and container environments. Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to continuously improve DevOps capabilities. Job Requirements
*Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in software development required. Required Skills: Kubernetes, Istio, Docker, OpenSearch, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Jenkins, GIT, Prometheus, Apache HTTPD, Nginx, Oracle WebLogic (11g/12c), Tomcat, Oracle SOA/BPM(11g/12c), Oracle OSB(11g/12c), Linux/UNIX, ANT, Shell Script, STIR/SHAKEN, Branded Call Display, Rich Call Display, fraud call detection, spam call identification, and robocall mitigation. Some telecommuting permitted. (*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive experience in software development also acceptable.)
