Our client is looking for an Senior Software Engineer (Java Microservices) for a project and below is the detailed requirement.

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Java Microservices)

Location: Irving, TX - Hybrid

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, with strong experience in enterprise Java application development.
  • 10–12 years of strong hands-on software development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Java 17, Java 8+, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience developing scalable Java Microservices.
  • Strong experience with RESTful and SOAP Web Services.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application environments.
  • Strong knowledge of JUnit, unit testing, code reviews, and code quality practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with Jira.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, UrbanCode Deploy, and Harness.
  • Strong understanding of modern architecture and enterprise application development.
  • Experience leading technical design, development, and delivery initiatives.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
