As a Survey Crew Chief for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Charlotte, NC office, you’ll lead and participate in field survey operations supporting a variety of projects, including boundary surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys, topographic surveys, route surveys, and construction stakeout. You’ll work both independently and with crew members under the direction of a Registered Professional Surveyor, ensuring accurate data collection and efficient field execution. You’ll operate survey equipment such as robotic total stations and GPS receivers, while maintaining detailed field notes, managing equipment, and upholding safety standards across all activities.
