Job Overview:

Pay Range $47hr - $52hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in Rust Development.
  • 5+ years of experience in Java.
  • 5+ years of experience in C++.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and execution of Java-to-Rust conversion for Edge applications.
  • Lead the design and execution of C/C++-to-Rust conversion for Edge applications.
  • Train and mentor senior SMEs on advanced Rust concepts and best practices.
  • Enable internal SMEs to assume the Rust Technical Lead role by the end of the engagement.
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Rust.
  • Build highly scalable, low-latency, and resilient services for cloud and distributed environments.
  • Develop microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven applications.
  • Implement concurrent and asynchronous solutions using Rust best practices.
  • Optimize application performance, memory efficiency, and system reliability.
  • Collaborate with architects and product teams to define technical solutions and system designs.
  • Integrate applications with cloud platforms, databases, messaging systems, and enterprise platforms.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and sprint planning activities.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Ensure security, observability, scalability, and compliance requirements are met.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.
