Job description

Grow your career as a Senior Backend Python Developer with an innovative global bank in Jersey City, NJ. Contract role with strong possibility of extension and/or conversion. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience developing backend systems and services using Python.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and related libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas).
  • Experience building REST APIs and working in microservices or service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience with data processing, ETL pipelines, or data engineering concepts.
  • Familiarity with LLMs and GenAI technologies.
  • Understanding of distributed systems and backend integration patterns.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team.
