About the Opportunity
Our Government client located in Long Island City, NY is seeking a motivated Junior .NET Developer to join a technology team supporting enterprise applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer looking to grow their experience with Microsoft technologies while contributing to projects that support large-scale data modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
Working alongside experienced developers, you'll participate in the full software development lifecycle while building modern .NET applications and expanding your technical skills in a collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain .NET applications under the guidance of senior developers.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Build applications using C#, ASP.NET, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to improve application performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business stakeholders, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Learn and apply modern development practices and emerging Microsoft technologies.
  • Contribute to code reviews and technical documentation.
  • Stay current with evolving .NET frameworks and software development best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Approximately 2-4 years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience with one or more programming languages such as:
    • C# / .NET
    • ASP.NET
    • Java
    • Python
    • JavaScript
  • Familiarity with software development best practices and object-oriented programming.
