About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and self-driven AI/ML Lead Engineer to join our growing team. This individual will play a critical role in solutioning(design/prototype) and implementing cutting-edge AI/ML and Generative AI solutions to address complex business challenges. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of AI/ML/GenAI technologies and a proven ability to translate business needs into robust and scalable digital solutions. This role requires a strong hands-on approach, a passion for innovation, and the ability to lead and influence technical direction.
Responsibilities:
Drive the identification and evaluation of new AI/ML/GenAI technologies and tools to build innovative solutions and enhance existing solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and business stakeholders, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Mentor and guide junior engineers on best practices in AI/ML/GenAI development and deployment.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field and proactively identify opportunities to leverage new technologies.
Lead the development of proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the feasibility of new AI/ML/GenAI solutions.
Contribute to the development of internal AI/ML/GenAI platforms and frameworks.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AI/ML/GenAI solutions in production.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in the software engineering industry, with a focus on AI/ML and GenAI solution development.
Experience in building APIs using Fast framework and Open API Standards.
Deep understanding of various AI/ML/GenAI techniques, including deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
Hands-on experience in Python, Java, or other relevant languages.
Rich understanding of LLMs, vector stores and search algorithms
Experience with popular AI/ML/GenAI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, LangChain, and Hugging Face Transformers.
Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML/GenAI solutions in production environments.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Self-starter with a strong drive for innovation and problem-solving using out of the box tooling and other automation suites.
Extensive experience with data analysis and manipulation using tools like SQL, Pandas etc.
Extensive experience with RDBMS (Oracle, Postgres) , No SQl Databases like Mongo, any vector database.
Experience with MLOps principles and tools is a plus.
Exposure to Agentic Framework and MCP protocol will be plus.
