Job Summary:
SEACORP is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer for their Platforms Business Area. The AI/ML Engineer will lead AI/ML development efforts across multiple defense programs, from concept through deployment and architect and implement machine learning solutions for operational and tactical systems.
Responsibilities:
• Design and deploy LLM-powered applications, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), tool-using agents, and mission-specific knowledge systems.
• Develop Agentic AI frameworks for autonomous task execution, planning, reasoning, and workflow orchestration.
• Build AI pipelines for sensor data exploitation, including:
+ Acoustic signal processing (sonar).
+ Radar signal analysis.
+ Electronic Warfare (EW) signal classification.
+ Multi-modal sensor fusion.
+ Develop predictive, classification, anomaly detection, and data augmentation models.
• Establish AI engineering standards, MLOps pipelines, and reusable corporate AI infrastructure.
• Support SEACORP’s AI Center Of Excellence (COE). Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers and support SEACORP’s internal AI capability growth.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering or applied machine learning.
• Strong experience with Python.
• Strong experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Strong experience with Scikit-learn.
• Strong experience with ML model deployment frameworks.
• Experience designing and deploying machine learning systems into production environments.
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Experience with time-series modeling.
• Experience with deep learning architectures.
• Experience with signal processing workflows.
• Experience with cloud or on-prem GPU compute environments.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals (Git, CI/CD, APIs, containerization).
• U.S. Citizenship required.
Preferred:
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs): Fine-tuning, Prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Model evaluation.
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks, such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen.
• Experience in defense-related sensor processing: Sonar/acoustic intelligence, Radar signal exploitation, Electronic Warfare systems.
• Experience with transformer architecture for signal processing.
