Job Summary:
InterSources Inc is a Small Business Enterprise specializing in IT Consulting, IT Staffing Solutions, and Software solutions. They are seeking a Python Developer to build and manage microservice architecture-based applications, enhance system performance, and ensure security and data protection.
Responsibilities:
• Write effective, scalable code
• Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
• Integrate user-facing elements into applications
• Test and debug programs
• Improve functionality of existing systems
• Implement security and data protection solutions
• Assess and prioritize feature requests
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7–10+ years professional experience
• Experience building and managing microservice architecture-based application using Python
• Experience with python packages like numpy, pandas, flask, pyspark, pymongo, os, logging, re, pyyaml
• Experience with swagger io module to expose API
• Strong RDBMS and Unix understanding with SQL and BASH shell scripting knowledge
• Write effective, scalable code
• Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
• Integrate user-facing elements into applications
• Test and debug programs
• Improve functionality of existing systems
• Implement security and data protection solutions
• Assess and prioritize feature requests
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
• Independent contributor
• Self-Driven and result oriented
• Verbal and Written communication skills - primarily the ability to communicate ideas, standards, and technical details to the development partners
• Ability to work effectively within cross functional teams

Preferred:
• Python3 preferred
• Experience in any of: OpenShift, Kubernetes, NGINX, or Docker a plus
• Experience with Big Data products like Hadoop, Hive will be a plus
